FULL ITINERARY

Arrival in Moshi (December 26th, 2025)

Accommodation: Comfortable hotel in Moshi (At your own cost) 27th December, 2025 In the morning, attend a pre-climb briefing where our experienced guides will provide essential information about the trek, ensuring that you are fully
prepared and confident for the days ahead. A session to discuss the details of theclimb, check the required gears, and offer clarity where it is needed

Day 1: December 28th, 2025

Moshi to Marangu Gate (1,900m/6,250ft) to Mandara Hut (2,720m/8,930ft) 
• Distance: 8.5 km (5.3 miles)
• Estimated Time: 3-4 hours
• Meals: Lunch, Dinner

• Habitat: Montane forest
After breakfast, we’ll depart from Moshi and drive to Marangu Gate. Our team will handle the park formalities before we begin our ascent through the lush rainforest. Enjoy the tranquil surroundings as your guide shares insights about the flora and fauna. Upon reaching Mandara Hut, settle in and enjoy a hearty dinner with fellow trekkers.

Day 2: December 29th, 2025

Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut (3,720m/12,200ft) 
• Distance: 11 km (6.8 miles)
• Estimated Time: 5-7 hours
• Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
• Habitat: Moorland
The trail leads us from the rainforest into the moorland, where the landscape opens up with expansive views of the peaks. Our guides will maintain a comfortable pace, allowing you to acclimatize as you trek. Arrive at Horombo Hut, where you’ll be treated to stunning views and a well-deserved dinner.

Day 3: December 30th, 2025

Acclimatization Day at Horombo Hut
• Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today is dedicated to acclimatization, a key to summit success. Engage in a guided hike to either Zebra Rocks or Mawenzi Tarn Hut depending on the group's preference and fitness level. The day’s hike helps your body adjust to the altitude. Return to Horombo Hut for a relaxing evening and preparation for the next leg of the journey.

Day 4: December 31st, 2025

Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut (4,700m/15,420ft)
• Distance: 10 km (6.2 miles)
• Estimated Time: 6-8 hours
• Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
• Habitat: Semi-desert
After a nourishing breakfast, we set off across the "Saddle," a barren, lunar landscape that connects the peaks of Kibo and Mawenzi. This stretch is a true test of endurance as we approach the final base, Kibo Hut. Upon arrival, we’ll focus on rest, hydration, and nutrition in preparation for the early morning summit push.

Day 5: Summit Night January 01st ,2026

Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak (5,895m/19,341ft) to Horombo Hut
• Ascent Distance: 6.2 km (3.9 miles)
• Estimated Time: Ascent – 7 to 12 hours
• Descent Distance: 15.7 km (9.8 miles)
• Descent – 5 to 6 hours
• Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
• Habitat: Arctic zone
Begin the final ascent at 12h00midnight. With headlamps lighting your way, our guides will support you as you make your way up the steep, challenging terrain. The reward? A breathtaking sunrise at Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Capture this monumental achievement with photos before descending back to Horombo Hut for rest and a celebratory meal.

Day 6: January 02nd, 2026

Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate (Descent) 
• Distance: 15.7 km (9.8 miles)
• Estimated Time: 5-6 hours
• Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Today, we retrace our steps through the changing landscapes, returning to Marangu Gate. Upon arrival, you’ll receive your Kilimanjaro certificates, celebrating your successful climb. We’ll then transfer you back to Moshi for a well-deserved rest and final celebrations.

Day 7: January 03rd, 2026

Depart with unforgettable memories of your Kilimanjaro adventure, ready to take on new challenges in life. We recommend safari at National parks (Tarangire, Serengeti and/or Ngorongoro) or relaxation at Zanzibar Island. Let us know where you would like to visit after a successful summit.
