What to pack

You are advised to rent or bring your own gear for ultimate trekking experience.

Be mindful of what you pack, ensure to bring only what is necessary.

Maximum weight luggage per person is 15kgs.

Personal Health & Comfort

1. Toiletries (Shower gel below 200ml)
2. Degradable wet wipes and toilet paper
3. Any regular medication you are taking
4. Hand sanitizer
5. Sunscreen
6. Face towel
7. Pee-bottle for night time calls
8. Camera/phone and power banks
9. Vaseline and lip bam
10. Insole foot warmers

Sleeping Gear

1. Sleeping bag
2. Sleeping mat/mattress/bed: provided
3. Sleeping bag liner for extra warmth: optional,
4. Knitted beanie hat and gloves (mittens)
5. Thick winter socks
6. Crocs for when relaxing at the camp
7. Heavy sleeping sweater
8. Comfortable trousers/long pants
9. Insulated hot water bottle: optional

Personal First-aid Kit

1. Blister plasters
2. Antibiotic cream and ointment
3. Band-aid for minor cuts and scrapes
4. Ibuprofen/paracetamol for pain relief
5. Imodium for diarrhea
6. Anti-nausea medication
7. Any prescription medications
8. Diamox (if using)

Footwear & Trekking Poles

1. Summit boots (waterproof)
2. Hiking shoes (waterproof)
3. Gaiters
4. 4-6 pairs liner/hiking socks (wool or synthetic, no cotton)
5. 2-4 pairs thick socks (no cotton) + 1 pair of thermal socks for summit night
6. Spare shoe laces for hiking boots
7. Trekking poles

Headwear

1. Brim hat/cap with neck protection
2. Warm hat with ear flaps
3. Neck gaiter or buff
4. Sunglasses (rated 100% UV protection)
5. Head torch (don’t forget spare batteries)
6. Sunhat

Clothing: Lower Body

1. 6 – 8 Underwear (no cotton)
2. 2 – 4 Hiking pants
3. Summit thermal leggings
4. Winter hiking pants for summit night (1)
5. Waterproof/rain pants

Clothing: Upper Body

1. 5 – 7 Comfortable sports bra (ladies)
2. 3 – 5 lightweight long/short sleeved t-shirts (no cotton)
3. Fleece jacket (2)
4. Thermal shirt/top base layer
5. Rain jacket/Poncho
6. Heavy jacket that fits over all your layers for summit night

Hands

1. Thin gloves (wool or synthetic, no cotton)
2. Thick waterproof gloves
3. Summit mittens

Water & Snaks

1. 2.5-3-liter hydration bladder or water bottles
2. Snacks – sweet, and sour

Ladies Only

1. Enough tampons to change 3-4 times daily if on menstrual period
2. Ziplock bags for used tampons/pads
3. Pee funnel
