Bondwa peak, Choma waterfalls, and the village

Hike to Bondwa Peak
Hike about 5.5km from Uluguru Ridge camp to Bondwa Peak, standing at 2,161m above sea level. It requires some basic fitness to walk up to the peak. Enjoy the view of Morogoro town and Lake Mindu.
Walk to Choma Waterfall
This can be accessed either by coming up to the camp or while going down from the camp. Hence the distance will be a bit longer if you decide to reach the campsite via the Choma waterfalls route. Be sure to bring your swimming costume.
Pottery making
Book to join a group of ladies who make pots for cooking and other uses. You will be able to witness the whole traditional process.
Vegetable and fruit garden visit
The Uluguru Mountains are famous for their organic strawberries, carrots, beetroot, bananas, spinach, and cabbage to name a few. Plan for a garden tour where you will be able to collect your snacks for the day.
Sunset View
The mountains offer breathtaking scenes of sunset and landscapes. Enjoy clear view of sunsets from the camp and neighboring areas.
